History
St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School Dulwich Hill was established in 1906 when Dulwich Hill was part of the parish of Marrickville, under the care of the Passionist Fathers, whose founder was St Paul of the Cross. The primary school had eighty students and was staffed by the Sisters of St Joseph. The Sisters continued at the school until 1997 when the first lay principal was appointed.

We are proud to reflect the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and as a school live by her words “never see a need without doing something about it.”
We acknowledge the rich cultural backgrounds of all who are part of our community in our motto ‘We belong together in faith and learning’ and the values of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop – faith, tolerance, courage, persistence and care for others – inspire and guide us in all we do.
